Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance Specialist to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's insurance policies, coordinating with insurance providers and brokers, handling insurance claims, monitoring policy renewals, and ensuring adequate insurance coverage in line with company requirements. The role requires strong coordination, analytical, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage insurance documentation and ensure timely processing of claims and renewals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor company insurance policies, including medical, property, motor, liability, and other relevant insurance coverage.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and brokers to obtain quotations, compare coverage, negotiate terms, and arrange policy renewals.
- Handle insurance claims from submission through settlement, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, premiums, claims, renewals, and related documentation.
- Monitor policy expiry dates and ensure timely renewals to avoid any gaps in coverage.
- Review policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and coverage limits to ensure they meet the company's requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect information and documentation required for insurance applications and claims.
- Verify insurance invoices, premiums, and payment schedules in coordination with the Finance Department.
- Prepare periodic reports on insurance costs, claims status, policy coverage, and renewal schedules.
- Assist in identifying insurance-related risks and recommend appropriate coverage and risk mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable insurance regulations and company policies.
- Perform other insurance-related duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience in insurance operations, claims management, or policy administration.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage terms, claims procedures, and renewal processes.
- Experience dealing with insurance companies and brokers.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good command of written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Saudi insurance market and relevant regulations is preferred.
